Clifton Heritage National Park stands as a testament to the importance Bahamians place on preserving the natural beauty of their land and habitat while also maintaining a direct connection to their history.

Since its establishment in 2004, Clifton Heritage National Park has placed a strong emphasis on educating Bahamians and visitors alike about the area’s natural, cultural and historic treasures.

The Coalition believes Clifton Heritage National Park stands as a testament to the importance Bahamians place on preserving the natural beauty of their land and habitat while also maintaining a direct connection to their history.

Among its many initiatives, the park is currently working on professional training, certification and skills enhancement for its tour guides that will provide more engaging and informative tours for Bahamians and visitors of all ages.

Major funding is provided by Parliament, the rest from gifts, grants, commercial activities or donations.
