WEEFCA has been providing environmental conservation service to the youth of Grand Bahama since 2008. They continue to add a wide array of new programs and projects each year and promote that “Protecting the environment is everyone’s responsibility.”
WEEFCA educates and trains youth about environmental stewardship in their community. Children engage in classroom lessons and hands-on activities that allow for an up close and personal appreciation for protecting the environment.
Cultural Anthropologist Margaret Mead said, “We won’t have a society if we destroy the environment.” WEEFCA is dedicated to ensuring that the next generation has an opportunity to enjoy the natural resources and beauty of our islands.
WEEFCA is delighted to be a community partner with Save The Bays and look forward to raising awareness of any issue affecting our natural world.
